SOMEONE ASKED THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD BILL GATES, "IS THERE ANYONE RICHER THEN YOU IN THE WORLD?" READ WHAT’S HIS REPLY!

Someone asked the richest man in the world Bill Gates, "Is there anyone richer then you in the world?"
Bill Gates replied, "Yes, there is a person who is richer than me."
He then narrated a story.
“It was during the time when I wasn’t rich or famous.
“I was at the New York Airport when I saw a newspaper vendor.
“I wanted to buy one newspaper but found that I didn’t have enough change. So I left the idea of buying and returned it to the vendor.
“I told him of not having the change. The vendor said, ‘I am giving you this for free.’ On his insistence I took the newspaper.
“Coincidentally, after two to three months, I landed at the same airport and again I was short of change for a newspaper. The vendor offered me the newspaper again. I refused and said that I can’t take it for I don’t have change today too. He said, ‘You can take it, I am sharing this from my profit, I won’t be at loss.’ I took the newspaper.
“After 19 years I became famous and known by people. Suddenly I remembered that vendor. I began searching for him and after about 1½ months of searching, I found him.
“I asked him, ‘Do you know me?’ He said, ‘Yes, you are Bill Gates.’
“I asked him again, ‘Do you remember once you gave me a newspaper for free?’
“The vendor said, ‘Yes, I remember. I gave you twice.’
“I said, ‘I want to repay the help you had offered me that time. Whatever you want in your life, tell me, I shall fulfill it.’
“The vendor said, ‘Sir, don’t you think that by doing so you won’t be able to match my help?’
“I asked, ‘Why?’
“He said, ‘I had helped you when I was a poor newspaper vendor and you are trying to help me now, when you have become the richest man in the world. How can your help match mine ?’
“That day I realized that the newspaper vendor is richer than I am, because he didn’t wait to become rich to help someone.”
People need to understand that the truly rich are those who possess a rich heart rather than lots of money.
It’s very important to have a rich heart ❤️

BE KIND, FOR EVERYONE YOU MEET IS FIGHTING A BATTLE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!

Bob started a new job, in a small office, where four workers share a fridge. In that fridge is a Brita water filter pitcher. One of my co-workers complained the water tasted "dirty". It went on for a few days, and others were stunned that Bob could drink the water without any trouble. Others started to doubt about Bob’s taste buds, but the water really tasted fine.

Finally, others figured out the problem was actually their cup. They simply forgot to clean it, and after a while started to affect the water inside it. They cleaned their cup, and drank the water with no problem.

I can't help but look at this, and think about the world we live in. Too often we quickly blame other people, other things, anything else but ourselves. "You're racist". "You're intolerant". "You're the problem". The world isn't perfect, I know, but I think we should take a step back sometimes and ask ourselves some tough questions.

Can I be better? Is my heart really pure? Can I help this situation with kindness?

I want to tell you this; please clean your cup. Because when you do, the water will taste much better. I promise you this.

THE MOST COMMON WAY PEOPLE GIVE UP THEIR POWER IS BY THINKING THEY DON’T HAVE ANY. – ALICE WALKER

Extra-ordinary things don't happen by chance.
They happen to people bold enough to believe and attempt them.

We live in the age where 'The Avengers' and 'The Guardians of the Galaxy' give the word superhero a whole new meaning. Don't you wish just like them you also should have some superpowers? Think for a moment… you don't have to wish for something that you already have. We are blessed with superpowers that we have no idea about. We all have incredible hidden powers that we need to tap and channelize to derive the best out of ourselves.

“Superhero science has taught me this: Entire universe fit comfortably inside our skulls. Not just one or two but endless universes can be packed into that dark, wet, and bony hollow without breaking it open from the inside. The space in our heads will stretch to accommodate them all. The real doorway to the fifth dimension was always right here. Inside. That infinite space contains all the divine, the alien, and the unworldly we’ll ever need.” – Grant Morrison

First and foremost, you have the power of words. Never ever underestimate the power of words. Perhaps, one of the most important superpowers, your words can make or break someone's day. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them.

Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words... it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times. Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another. Use this superpower well and see the difference it can make in your life. Words are incredibly powerful, use them to spread joy.

Next superpower, is the power of empathy, not many have the power to put themselves in someone else's shoes. Thinking about the other person most definitely doesn't make you less of a human being. For those who are slightly empathic you know the fact that this superpower can help so many.

For once exit the bubble of your own self and think about someone else. You will be surprised to see how people will react to this. Spread the love, in this harsh world someone needs to think about everyone. By doing this you will feel more connect and alive. Use the power of empathy as much as you can.

Thirdly, the power of the mind-body connection is something that we all are blessed with. Yet only a few of us choose to exercise it well. In this day and age of competition, a positive coordination between the mind and body will make things much simpler for you.

A healthy mind and a fit body together are a treasure that not everyone has. Did you know that your positive thoughts help boost your body to produce a certain chemical in the body that aids in keeping you happy as well as healthy? Though it may come as news to many, you may sometimes forget how much of a difference a positive mind-set actually makes. Now the question is are you ready to change yourself?

Use your hidden superpowers to change yourself and the world. So it's time to dust off your cape and let the magic begin. I say it's time to realize that our inner superhero never died, and he or she still owns power that if understood, practiced and used, can shatter our stagnant perception of a victimized reality and help us re-create ourselves from the inside out.

"May the next few months be a period of magnificent transformation."

THE MIRACULOUS ENERGY OF FAITH

"FAITH... must be enforced by REASON... When faith becomes blind it dies."
-Mahatma Gandhi

What we believe becomes reality. It has been said that faith can move mountains. The highest mountains are our negative thoughts, feelings and ideas, which block our capacity to rise beyond our limits.

Faith is the energy of understanding that enables us to realize anything is possible even if it is not visible in front of our eyes.

The success that comes from faith is closely linked with 'letting go'. It is only when we let go of what we are used to, or what we have learnt to depend on, that new perceptions and new possibilities will present themselves to us.

All that is needed are a few basic facts and then we can take action. When we drive a car, do we insist on knowing how the engine works in detail before driving it? Do we know the mechanical details of a lift before we use it? Most people are only aware of the basic functions and this is all they need to carry out the action. However, they do have the faith that the car has been correctly constructed to do its job safely and that by pressing a few buttons the lift will raise them to wherever it is they want to go. In the modern life-style, there is a tendency to over-think, to want to control and direct every outcome, but such a life lacks spontaneity and simplicity.

Although we do need a framework, it must be flexible enough to allow space for the unexpected, the unpredictable and the great surprise. Such a space is the window through which the light of innovation can enter. When life is over-planned, we become cemented in, unable to grow, or flow, into new horizons. Faith allows us to realize that optimum results can happen without always having to structure or plan. Such faith is the basis for new vision and allows us to reach beyond our limits; because we believe we are more than what meets the eye. Such faith is the inspirational energy of every pioneer in whatever field.

WHY DO WE OFFER A COCONUT?

In India one of the most common offerings in a temple is a coconut. It is also offered on occasions like weddings, festivals, the use of a new vehicle, bridge, house etc. It is offered in the sacrificial fire whilst performing homa. The coconut is broken and placed before the Lord. It is later distributed as prasaada.

The fibre covering of the dried coconut is removed except for a tuft on the top. The marks on the coconut make it look like the head of a human being. The coconut is broken, symbolising the breaking of the ego. The juice within, representing the inner tendencies (vaasanas) is offered along with the white kernel - the mind, to the Lord.

A mind thus purified by the touch of the Lord is used as prasaada ( a holy gift). In the traditional abhishekha ritual done in all temples and many homes, several materials are poured over the deity like milk, curd, honey, tender coconut water, sandal paste, holy ash etc. Each material has a specific significance of bestowing certain benefits on worshippers. Tender coconut water is used in abhisheka rituals since it is believed to bestow spiritual growth on the seeker.

The coconut also symbolises selfless service. Every part of the tree -the trunk, leaves, fruit, coir etc. Is used in innumerable ways like thatches, mats, tasty dishes, oil, soap etc. It takes in even salty water from the earth and converts it into sweet nutritive water that is especially beneficial to sick people. It is used in the preparation of many ayurvedic medicines and in other alternative medicinal systems.

The marks on the coconut are even thought to represent the three-eyed Lord Shiva and therefore it is considered to be a means to fulfill our desires.

IF A CHILD CAN'T LEARN THE WAY WE TEACH, MAYBE WE SHOULD TEACH THE WAY THEY LEARN

From one of the best selling book of Napoleon Hill; Many people make the mistake of assuming that, because Henry Ford had but little "schooling," he is not a man of "education." Those who make this mistake do not know Henry Ford, nor do they understand the real meaning of the word "educate." That word is derived from the Latin word "educo," meaning to educe, to draw out, to DEVELOP FROM WITHIN.

An educated man is not, necessarily, one who has an abundance of general or specialized knowledge. An educated man is one who has so developed the faculties of his mind that he may acquire anything he wants, or its equivalent, without violating the rights of others. Henry Ford comes well within the meaning of this definition. Any man is educated who knows where to get knowledge when he needs it, and how to organize that knowledge into definite plans of action.

In ancient times, India had the Gurukula system of education in which everyone who wished to study went to a teacher's (Guru) house and requested to be taught. If accepted as a student by the guru, he would then stay at the guru's place and help in all activities at home. This not only created a strong tie between the teacher and the student, but also taught the student everything about running a house. The guru taught everything the child wanted to learn, from Sanskrit to the holy scriptures and from Mathematics to Metaphysics. The student stayed as long as he/she wished or until the guru felt that he had taught everything he could teach. All learning was closely linked to nature and to life, and not confined to memorizing some information.

The modern school system was brought to India, including the English language, Originally by Lord Thomas Babington Macaulay in the 1830's. The curriculum was confined to "modern" subjects such as science and mathematics, and subjects like metaphysics and philosophy were considered unnecessary. Teaching was confined to classroom and the link with nature was broken, as also the close relationship between teacher and the student.

Now the question arise is that "How to acquire knowledge that really matters?" Well to a large extent your major purpose in life, the goal towards which you are working, will help determine what knowledge you need. Knowledge has no value except that which can be gained from its application toward some worthy end.

Successful men, in all calling, never stop acquiring specialized knowledge related to their major purpose, business, or profession. The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge. Those who are not successful usually make the mistake of believing that knowledge acquiring period ends when one finishes school. The truth is that schooling does but little more than to put one in the way of learning how to acquire practical knowledge.

Thomas A. Edison had only three months of "schooling" during his entire life. He did not lack education, neither did he die poor.
Henry Ford had less than a sixth grade "schooling" but he has managed to do pretty well by himself, financially.

As Greek philosopher and Scientist Aristotle said, "Educating the mind without educating the heart in no education at all.

Thank you very much for your time.
